Bluegrass Butcher Block is a family owned company that was formed in 2011 by owners John and Deanna Taylor.
Our products are made from Hard Maple, Walnut, Hickory, White Oak, and Cherry. We take great pride in what we create, starting with a high grade lumber. We sort all parts before gluing to assure that products are uniformly blended in regards to color, mineral deposits, and other unique characters in the wood. We use a food safe glue for assembly, and a food safe finish for sealing. We do not apply any stain to our products. What you see is the natural colors of the wood. Furthermore, our products undergo a very strict final inspection that is hand sanded and closely checked for defects. Because of this, you can be assured that you are receiving the best product possible.
